Seeri Authentic Thai Restaurant, SS2

To ease a grumpy Mr. T, feed him tom yam.

Seeri Authentic Thai Restaurant is located on the same row of shops as Kayu Nasi Kandar. If you still have no clue where the shops are, they’re in the square where the pasar malam is held every Thursday.

There are 3 dishes Mr. T & I always order at a Thai restaurant:

Sambal Petai With Prawns, RM 15

It’s either sambal petai or sambal kang kung. And we like it to taste a little sweet. This sambal petai was strong in flavour and was not very spicy – it was perfect!

Tom Yam Seafood, RM 15(s)

We’ll never skip tom yam for sure. Mr. T squealed in excitement upon seeing a great amount of calamaris in the soup. I highly recommend their tom yam seafood.

Stir Fried Squid, RM 12

I think we had too much sotong that evening that I began to squirm at the sight of this. There was nothing bad about the dish – in fact, I liked the gravy a lot – but having 2 dishes with loads of squid is an overkill.

We’re definitely going back for another round of tom yam.
