I found The Big Mouth Cafe while randomly searching for lunch places at USJ on Foodspotting.
The cafe was rather empty on a Saturday noon – but of course, this was after 2 pm so maybe the crowd had already left.
Lamb shank, RM 26.90
Tender & juicy but heavily drenched in an overwhelming taste of black pepper sauce. Not my type of lamb shank but it was reasonably priced.
Chicken Cordon Bleu
Mr. T’s selection was again, “okay” in his words but it was clearly lacking cheese.
I love thick shakes that have a strong flavour in them. This one, unfortunately, didn’t have much strawberry taste but the consistency was acceptable.
Chocolate Volcano, RM 8.90
I had to wait about 15 minutes for this to arrive after finishing my main. I imagined the cake texture to be moist but it was quite burnt & dry. However, with the chocolate sauce (inside) and vanilla ice cream, it’s still satisfactory.
The portions at Big Mouth came in small sizes. Mr. T was still feeling hungry after having the Chicken Cordon Blue so we headed over to a nearby mamak to have a second lunch. I didn’t, of course :P
