Another new cafe is in town.
pH Pastry House is located along Jalan Utara, not difficult to spot if you know where Beryl’s Chocolate Factory is at Imbi.
The interior of the cafe is not too complicated and they have outdoor seating and another area for parties/events. Considering the cafe is still new, there weren’t many customers during tea time.
Spheria, RM 8.90
Chocolate mousse coated in another layer of chocolate with crunchy wafer bit in the centre. Not a fan of mousse but this was quite likable.
Assorted macarons, RM 3.90 each
I do not recall the flavours of the macarons from the photo above but I sampled all of them during my visit:
Fleur De Sel Milk Chocolate
My favourite was the dark brown piece, which was the best tasting one among the rest.
Foresta Nera (Chocolate Cherry) & Choco La Menthe (Chocolate Mint), RM 12.90 each
Foresta Nera — literally, Black Forest in English — the sinful whipped cream drink was more “cherry-licious” than chocolatey. Mr. T likes minty-tasting drinks and he said he’ll return for another.
They’ll be coming up with a dinner menu soon — probably another trip to pH will be made again.
