Have you tried pork broth steamboat?

Mr. T suggested that we take a break from our usual joint at Sunway Mentari and head over to a new place at Uptown. We visited Bone & Pot on a rainy day – the best time to have steamboat!

At 7 pm on a weekday, the restaurant was empty but it started to get filled up from 8 pm onwards.

We didn’t know how big the portions were so we ended up over-ordering and had a hard time finishing most of food. The above picture looked as if it was just good for the both of us but trust me, we could not eat everything!

There were a variety of sauces, mainly chilli, to choose from but they didn’t have hoi sin sauce.

Personally, this is one of the best steamboat places I’ve been to. The pork broth was really tasty and you do not need extra vegetables for extra flavour. The tom yam was spicy & sour – just enough to feel the burning sensation on your taste buds. The food was freshly prepared – we loved the slices of pork meat the assortment of fish balls, but I would skip the corn and cut down on the veggies next time.

Our bill came up to more than RM 100, no thanks to our greediness, but you have to try this place if you like steamboat.

  1. I went to your Kelana Jaya branch on Friday (16/03/2012) evening with 3 of my guests. The staff told me to wait outside and have a seta while cleaning table. 15 minutes later a family of 5 adults + 2 children came see the supervisor and was given the table my guest and I waited. I asked the LADY supervisor and she told me because the group is bigger than us, so priorty given to them ! NOT FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. It is which base on bigger customers ?

    I am even a regular customer to your kelana Jaya branch and is that the way your business operates ? Appreciate your advise .
